It is the night of my best friend’s 11th birthday
party. I am super excited. Finally I get to her house and I see all of
my other friends there. First we decide
to open all of her presents, then play some party games.
After a while it becomes night, so we go into Molly’s room and
turn on her tv to watch a scary movie called ‘When a Stranger Calls’.
We get into our sleeping bags and we start the movie. As the movie begins Molly’s mum walks into
the room and tells us that she is going to sleep and that she doesn’t want us
to wake her up during the night.
Halfway through the movie we get too scared so we turn off the
tv. None of us are tired and it isn’t that late so we decide to go to the dairy
and get some lollies for a midnight feast.
As we walk through the door we notice a tv on the wall of the dairy and
the news reporter says “Breaking news, there is a murderer on the loose. Stay
indoors unless it is an emergency and look all doors and windows. Please comfort loved-ones and the elderly.”
Listening to the news reporter gave us the fright of our lives
and we feel a chill rolling down our spines.
We forget about the lollies and sprint as fast as we can out the door.
We are running down the steps and take a quick glimpse behind
us only to see the dairy owner coming for us.
As we are sprinting down the road, we recognise a graveyard that is
close to Molly’s house and decide to take a shortcut through it. All of a
sudden the footsteps behind us stop. We turn around to the sight of the dairy
owner hanging from a tree with a rope around his neck...Dead. We are so scared
at this point, there is no way out.
In the distance we see a blinding white light. We think it may
be a way out so we run over to it but by our surprise it is a little girl in a
white gown crying out blood and screaming,” HE’S A DEMON, RUN!!”
