"Mummy, could I have it please!" Tommy exclaimed.
"No, but why don't you buy it yourself," his mum replied.
"Good idea Mum." But Tommy didn't watch the rest of the ad. "But make sure you wish carefully, because this wish will last your whole life! Have fun."
Tommy bolted down the street and stopped at a small shack called Toy World. He walked in and strolled down the aisles until his eyes got caught on a little area with a sign saying 'Wish of a Lifetime.' Tommy rushed over and poured out his life savings. Tommy didn't care if he paid too much. He was so excited, he had an unforeseen accident.
"Oh bother, I wish I had some clean pants," cried Tommy. He hadn't noticed that the 'Wish of a Lifetime' crystal ball was beginning to glow. Poof! Suddenly the yellowy liquid vanished from Tommy's pants. He was relieved and then he noticed the label 'Only good for one wish!'.
Tommy gasped and was upset. He learnt a valuable lesson in the end, that life is not perfect and accidents happen.
