Fitness: Athletics

In the Year 5/6 team, the children do fitness at 9:30 to 9:45 every morning. Currently in our fitness programme the children are working through three stations.
The stations are
1. High Jump - learning to use the scissor jump on low hurdles
2. Running - learning how to run and increase speed. Also learning how to do relays and use the batons.
3. Long Jump - learning to jump from 1 foot to 2 feet.
