Aus Zealand: Olympics

I found this article on the net and thought it was great to see.

An Australian newspaper has attempted to sugar-coat the nation's lacklustre performance at the London Olympics. Sydney paper the Daily Telegraph has cheekily combined the medal haul of both Australia and New Zealand which would have the fictitious sporting body sitting at ninth place on the medal tally. Australia has plummeted to number 24 on the medal board languishing below weaker nations such as Belarus, Denmark and Poland. New Zealand is currently at 14th place. The Aussies were hoping to achieve much success in the pool through numerous gold medals including the men's 4x100m freestyle relay, 100m freestyle and 50m freestyle. Unfortunately it didn't work out for them. Australia left the pool with only one gold medal — the women's 4x100 freestyle relay. New Zealand has had a spectacular outing so far. The Kiwis have reeled in three gold medals in the rowing and eye further golds through track and field athletes Valerie Adams and Nick Willis.
