Why was it good arrangement for the cat?
It’s because she had all she needed.
Quote: It was a good arrangement. The cat would wake up at 11o’clock sharp every morning, have breakfast then go for a morning snooze. Next came lunch, followed by a brisk ten meter walk to have an afternoon nap.
Was it good arrangement for the man?
No, because in the day all he did was work on the computer.
Quote: He would sit like for hours on end, motionless apart from his hands which would scuttle to and fro across the buttons like pale crabs.
Why did the cat have to move on?
It’s because it was nearly spring.
Quote: It was 3am and the man had flopped on the sofa and fallen fast asleep. The cat watched the sleeping man and thought things over. Spring was fast approaching and the days were getting longer it was time to move again.
