Maths: Probability

The children in the A Team have moved from Statistics to Probability. The children have had some fun activities using the computers to explore probability games and how probability can be uncertain.

Today, the children in Room 3 began learning about probability trees. This is a strategy to show the different outcomes.
This is an example of tossing two coins. The first time you toss a coin, you can either get a heads or tails. Tossing a coin 2 times, there are 4 possible outcomes. The children are learning to find the outcomes and then using fractions to find the probability. It is work in progress.

At this time I would like to give you these websites that have many fun probability games for your child to play.
